Job Title: Engineer – FX Sales Technology - Institutional

At ANZ our purpose is to shape a world where people and communities thrive and to achieve this, we need a talented Engineers to join our FX Sales Technology Squad. The squad responsible for FX platforms that support our sales’ Dealers across the globe. This includes all customer segments, Investor, Institutional and Commercial.
As an experienced senior Engineer, you will be involved in developing both breadth and depth. We want great engineers, and we will foster our people’s talent by giving opportunities to work on things that develop both your deep technical expertise, as well as your broad end-to-end understanding.
What will your day look like
Contributing to technical design, coding and conducting code review
Works with dealers, java engineers, analysts and testers to deliver state of the art bespoke sales desktop platform
Enables continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed
Works in collaborative teams to build innovative solutions that can improve electronic flow and reduce manual intervention.
Utilises tools and practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities
Implements a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality, prioritisation and documentation
Contributes to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices
Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management
Creates estimates and continuously reviews demand within the individual Squads/teams
Create/enhance, understand and monitor application metrics
